PFW | RUNWAY REVIEW | SPRING/SUMMER 2016 | VALENTINO | WARRIOR PRINCESS
By far, one of my most favorite collections shown at this year's Paris Fashion Week was the Valentino show. Each piece in this masterful collection told an intricate story of both boundless strength and delicate femininity. With fabrications such as leather and lace were the key reasons for my interpretation, but the rich detailing gave this collection so much depth. Instead of hanging on the poetic note of hard and soft, the silhouettes take this collection to another level. Many of the looks gave me a Regal yet youthful feel with its solid variation of both effortless gowns and mini-dresses. Another high point for me were the intricate knits, bold prints, and ethnic-inspired beading which further emphasized the princess warrior theme in my opinion. I love just about every look in this collection. What do you think? Check out the full fashion show and gallery below, and chime in your thoughts in the comment section. Until next time my loves!
