NYFW RUNWAY REVIEW | SPRING/SUMMER 2016 | DVF | THE EVERY WOMAN COLLECTION
As New York Fashion Week continues, I struggle to decide which fashion collection I love the most. For many years I have always considered myself a die-hard Diane Von Furstenberg fan! In fact, in my most recent class "Fashion Design With Soul" now available on Skillshare, I discuss the power of having heroes to look to as inspiration, and as you can guess I chose DVF as one of my most coveted heroes. DVF in my opinionis hte epitome of feminine charm and girl power. Always known for her classic silhouettes, and adorable prints, DVF presents a perfect mixture of a youthful ageless spirit and womanly mystique.
I loved everything about the DVF Spring/Summer 2016 collection from the luxe-looking knits and gold sheen sets to the delicate prints, and vintage silhouettes that will no doubt compliment just about all women. Speaking of all women, I must say that I was so appreciative of her model line up and its diversity. As a matter of fact, I believe her show was the most diverse so far aside from Givenchy. The make up looks were sweet and colorful, the hair was flowy and sexy; but isn't that the epitome of a great spring look?
